Tiwa Savage & Dr Sid to Host the Headies 2013

We can confirm that the hosts of The Headies 2013 are Tiwa Savage and Dr Sid. The newly wed Nigerian chanteuse and rap superstar are going to be the ones to watch out for at music's biggest night in Nigeria. 

The organizers of the awards ceremony, selected both artistes in line with the awards' tradition of picking talented and inspiring entertainers to host the show. 

On hosting, the Kele Kele Love songstress says "Being the 8th year, it's not easy to be consistent in a country like Nigeria. So kudos to the organizers for creating an award by Nigerians for Nigerians…it's always sketchy when the nomination list comes up, like this year. 

We are not going to touch on that, we'll 
just wait for the night and address those issues and we'll go 'all Kanye West' on the awards…" Speaking on hosting, Dr Sid gets playful emotional saying "I've been trying to host this event for the 
past 6 years, I've waited to be called to no avail and this year I'm hosting. Wow! I'm so emotional right now, I'm glad for this opportunity."
